I requested a “soft” massage, with cupping, but the therapist gave me a much stronger one because I was so tight. The cupping was fantastic. The upsell on the CBD oil was expensive, but I got it since I was paying through ClassPass & they were offering a discount for the holidays. Likely wouldn’t pay for the upgraded oil of booking directly. Will definitely book future sauna/massage/cupping sessions again.

Se alle anmeldelseneBeen going here for over a year - it’s simple, clean and decent. Reasonably priced for Manhattan. Massages are personal and it’s hard for me to find one that really does the job. So it’s best to try with a few different masseurs -). Sherry and Michael are very good but they have both changed roles and are now managers . Atm I like Steven, very firm pressure (consistent) and he also does “dry massage” so no oil just with towel over - which is a nice option as I don’t always want to be oiled up.

He eased me into the massage so that he wasn’t immediately digging into my body and it was the first time where I felt true relief after a massage. I normally have a low pain tolerance and am usually squirmish during a massage but he took his time and ensured my knots got out. Would highly recommend this establishment!

About 20-25 minutes of the session was resting with numbing cream on, which then made the microneedling sensations feel similar to microdermabrasion (for me, at least). There was also head and neck and shoulders massage. The cosmetic products used felt good, I have a sensitive skin and there was no burning or irritation. I had planned to tip that amount because it’s what ClassPass had suggested and it is 20% of the service so it makes sense but it sort of sets a bad tone to tell somebody what the “minimum” expected tip is before you’ve even performed the service.
