I was feeling sick and also exhausted from doing full body workouts from previous days (on top of having multiple disk herniations). I have previous experience with dancing. Even then, it takes me time to learn some movements I’ve never done before. I fell behind, but the class and instructor’s energy and motivation kept me going!

She asked whether I had attended the YMCA before or taken a Zumba class, and when she learned I was new to both, she offered helpful tips, instructions, and encouragement that helped me feel comfortable jumping right in. Her vibrant personality somehow outshined even her colorful outfit—which I absolutely loved! The choreography moved at a moderate-to-fast pace, but thankfully my years of dance experience helped me keep up with most of it. The music was upbeat, the energy was contagious, and the hour flew by. I knew it was a great class because I left both sweating and smiling. At one point, it even seemed like the birds outside the window had stopped to watch the fun! 🤭🐦⬛💃 I left sweaty, smiling, and already looking forward to the next class—which is pretty much the highest compliment I can give a workout. 💃 ::

Se alle anmeldelseneI really enjoyed this Jazzercise class! The workout was fun, upbeat, and welcoming. One of the ladies working there took the time to talk with me before and after class, answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I especially appreciated her insight as I’m hoping to encourage my mom, who had knee replacement surgery a little over a year ago, to try a class. I also asked whether younger adults attend and which class times tend to attract them. The instructor even joined our conversation, listened thoughtfully, and was incredibly supportive. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping people feel comfortable. Such a positive environment—I’d definitely come back!
