    High 45

I wasn’t sure what to expect but enjoyed the class - Meghan didn’t call out specific speeds like in a Barry’s class but let us pick speed based on exertion levels and previewed how long we’d be maintaining that speed (ie 90 seconds to 4 minutes). Did not love the flashing lights during class in the background but that’s just my preference. Playlist was unique and transitioned between hip hop, 90s rock, 2000s hits, a little EDM. While I’m mostly an outdoor runner I can see myself doing a class in the winter to prep for a race since

This is a good class, and I like how she goes around to help beginners. The one thing that is a serious safety hazard is that a lot of new people do their boxers sit-ups far outside of their circle, and they run the risk of getting hurt by the people around them. It also risks hurting those of us who are inside the circle. There should be an announcement made in the beginning of class that this is where you should be seated for these. I almost hurt someone just because she was almost a full foot above her designated space. I hope this is fixed soon because this has been pretty consistent over the last few months but wasn’t a problem before.

Really great first class! It was a bit hard to find because the apartment building wasn’t open yet so we had to get buzzed in. There was also no label saying the studio was on the third floor. But other than that, the class was nice. It wasn’t too difficult, felt more like a stretching class than a strength building. Our instructor was very kind, she didn’t correct our forms though, I wish she did so I knew if i was doing things correctly. Very beautiful studio!

I did not expect to work up a sweat but to my surprise it happened! This class was tough! I think I’ll be more mindful about doing Lagree Pilates 2 days prior in the future because my body still hadn’t fully recovered making this class harder as well. That aside, you will definitely get in a good workout here and leave with sore muscles. I always appreciate when instructors offer to help you correct form but don’t make you feel pressured to do more than you can especially if it’s clear you’re trying but can’t complete the sets. Reformer All Levels (Mahalo Room)

Beautiful space! Courtney was calm, clear instructions and attentive ! As it was my first time at this studio, it was a nice way to ease into the routine. I will continue to come to this studio and I hope it becomes more challenging though :)
