Se alle anmeldelseneI liked the concept a lot, and the entrance atmosphere/aesthetic was nice, but overall I was very disappointed by my experience in this studio. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere/aesthetic and the music was fun, but the music was far too loud and the dancing hard to keep up with. The instructor did not take a single pause the whole class to check in with her students, so it was hard to tell her that I was struggling. As a result, I had to leave early because the music was hurting my ears and possibly doing damage because I had tinnitus for several hours afterwards. The dance floor had too many people on it making it hard to freely move. The dance moves were also a bit complex for a beginner and the instructor didn’t do enough to give cues. It felt like she was enjoying the class for herself instead of guiding and holding the space. If I’m being 100% honest the vibe of the class did not feel welcoming to me which was surprising because the review’s raved and the business description seemed aligned with my values around body positivity and community. I felt more of a showy, cliquey, competitive vibe rather than the collective nourishing, embodied energy I usually look for in dance classes. No one checked on me or asked why I was leaving. There was no follow up with me after class. I really didn’t feel that the studio cared if I was there it not. It wasn’t for me, but I hope my feedback is helpful.

That said, I was able to make it through this class, have fun, and feel like I worked really hard. The instructor was great with cueing, reminding us about form, and providing modifications. She’s very knowledgeable in her work and shares her knowledge with you. I was super comfortable from the time I walked in I knew the energy was “just right”. I highly recommend this facility. I had only experienced like 5 minute Reiki “add on sessions” at another facility and had never had a full Reiki session before and I wasn’t too sure what to expect. After the session, I had an overwhelming sense of weight lifted off my chest and the past week I have noticed myself having a whole different way of looking at situations in a positive and more productive way. I also enjoyed the shop and bought myself an orange aventurine crystal, sage and a tigers eye bracelet. Overall amazing experience!

Scalp massage and blowout were very weak and didn’t seem like there was much experience or a plan. The blowout was not exactly what is normally included, no styling or smoothing just truly a washing and drying of hair. Again, very kind but just seemed inexperienced and uncomfortable with services provided.
