I booked my head massage through ClassPass and, after the service, I decided to leave a $10 cash tip as a token of appreciation for the service. However, I was told that the tip should be 20% of the original price of the service, even though I had booked through ClassPass. For me, the issue is not really about the amount of the tip. I would have been happy to give more if I genuinely felt that the service deserved it. What made me uncomfortable was being told what percentage I was expected to tip and how I needed to pay it. I believe a tip should be voluntary and based on the customer's experience and appreciation of the service. Being pressured about the amount and payment method took away from that experience. I hope the spa considers how this approach makes customers feel, because tipping should feel like a gesture of appreciation, not an obligation.

Thankfully the masseuse for this one was trained and legit. Only minor thing is they didn’t do a full 60 min and also skipped my feet. Usually when doing lower body it would cover the entire leg for full circulation but omitting the feet made it incomplete. Didn’t want to take away stars as she wasn’t bad. But just had some feedback.

I didn’t catch the name of the woman who did my head spa, but she forgot the eye mask and was extremely rough and pinched me with massage. She also seemed in a rush and I had to ask for my hair to be more blow dried.
