He has a keen ability to bring the class his students back to the breath, to drop inside, and to be present. His sequences are also challenging so you get a good physical workout along with the mental workout, and he always flows to a great playlist which makes the fly by like a dance. I always leave refreshed and ready to take on the world after Donny's class!

Two areas of feedback would be to heat the room during the winter and not allow students in class if they arrive late. A student arrived at 8:05 and was disruptive to the peaceful energy at the beginning of class - not fair to the dozens of other students who had been timely.

Se alle anmeldelseneThis was my first time at this studio and I really enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t crazy hot or pumped with extra humidity. There is heat, just not an insane amount. If you’re sweating, it’s because you’re actually working hard :) The instructor was great at throwing out extra options for more advanced students while also offering the option to skip certain parts of you needed rest or a modification. The dark room with candlelight was nice for focusing on yourself and your own practice. I’m just passing g through the area but would come back!

I felt like she has been the most inclusive of all teachers at this studios so far that I’ve tried. She was mindful of everyone at all levels of practice. I really appreciated that and felt more grace towards myself when I couldn’t always hold the poses I wanted. I was happy I was given other options.

Only thing I always hope for in restorative/ yin — is music with no percussion or lyrics. But this is a personal thing because I’m a musician and percussion / lyrics are hard to fully zone out on. Def recommend this class and will be back!

Instructor didn’t want open the door because of the sunlight being so bright. The lack of air circulating gave me a migraine. Additionally there’s a water spot again in the far right corner in the front on the ceiling, toxic mold accumulates with these water damages. The area needs to be simply wiped out and the panel needs to be replaced. it’s been like this for a long time. Said kindly, it is time to replace it.

I love how this studio seems to keep the vibe leaning more toward traditional yoga vs the modern classes that you often see which, to me, feel more like a HIIT class than yoga. Lastly, both instructors I have taken make sure you know it’s your class and it’s “even okay to sleep if that’s what you need” - I love it. 💯

The class was not easy, BUT it taught me a lot about which muscles are weak in my body and what I need to work on. if I couldn’t do the pose exactly, it was okay their was an easier pose option given that my body was able to do. I recommend taking a class and trying it out. I’m planning on continuing my classes! :)

I realized with his detailed instructions how many poses I wasn't completely hitting. It's a hard class but he talks you through it so beautifully and I always leave feeling like I left some emo baggage in the room and am lighter. He also ends every class with a sound bath, which is just amazing. He's an amazing teacher.
