Teacher was great but would love to hear more details about how to use the right techniques. The instructions went by quick, maybe I was distracted or because it was my first time, I had to watch the rest a few times to understand the movements. For the rest it was still fun even as a newbie.

I’ve picked up ballet again recently after almost 20 years and I went from being advanced to beginner again which has not been easy. I’ve been trying out different studios, teachers and level of class for the past 3 weeks and I’ve now taken 2 classes with Chanquito, one beginner and one beginner / intermediate. In both I found that he has the perfect balance of care, patience, but also making it a challenging enough class while also making it easily accessible for different levels. I leave his class feeling great, both physically and mentally. The classes are fun and relaxed while demanding enough to improve technique. I’ve found the class and teacher I will commit to!

She offered different variations of an exercise for more beginners or advanced people. The class was clearly well planned ahead, she didn’t just come up with it in the moment, which was so reassuring because I experienced in other classes that the teachers were like: “oook, what should we do now…”.
