My mom wanted to a French manicure, but we weren’t told until after it was done that it was $10 extra (I wouldn’t have minded but I didn’t like that they didn’t tell us up front). They were also giving gifts to some of the other customers on their way out when they were done, but when we were leaving the male manicurist who did my mom’s nails was about to give it to us as well, but then the lady who did my manicure said something to him (assuming she was telling him not to). These interactions were a bit weird which is why I docked a star but overall both mine and my mom’s manicures turned out well.

I explained to her that I was here at three weeks ago and did not get charged the $2. I asked her if they’ve had a price increase since then she said no. I proceeded to ask her why the charge now she got flustered with me and said do not worry about it. I told her I would write a review and explain in the review that there is a two dollar up charge for this service so that future customers would know. Stand your ground do not pay more.

The service was actually good and I was thinking although it’s a bit of a trip I’d come back but 4 days later my pedicure gel has already started to peel which I feel like is unheard of. Also it wasn’t very clear on the breakdown of CP credits + additional and a little disappointing that credits couldn’t be used for the additional charge as well as the extra manicure service I requested on the spot (I had booked pedicure on CP and wanted to add manicure seeing the place wasn’t busy and I liked how the pedicure was going.

However, I found that the extraction by hand and the hydradermabrasion might have been a bit too intense for me. I was expecting ultrasonic scrubbers for the extraction. Next time, I might either try a different facial or ask Ashley to take a gentler approach. Ashley was very communicative and explained each step of the process, which I really appreciated. I’m definitely considering coming back. On a side note, I learned that this business will be moving to a new location soon—congrats to Ashley on the move!
